You might think it was a “Fun Cruise” scenario. But before love, it was time for adventures: a breakdown, passengers on a ship stranded and a delayed departure. Then, the meeting of two kindred spirits. Narrative.

Angela Harsannyi and Gian Perroni didn’t know each other four months ago, and are now engaged. The Canadian and the American thought they were embarking on a three-year dream cruise, which had become the cruise of their lives. “I had planned to propose on the boat, but one day we were walking along the river, and it was a full moon. So I made my request“, says Gian Perroni.

The request was made in Belfast (Northern Ireland) because their boat, supposed to leave last May, is still at the dock due to technical problems. “In the meantime, we created a very deep friendship, which turned into romance”continues the Canadian. “We discovered that we have a lot in common, and we enjoy each other’s company so much“, adds Angela Harsannyi. The couple plans to celebrate the wedding on the liner next April, between Panama and Costa Rica.
