More than a thousand people demonstrated in the streets of Paris on Saturday September 28 to defend the right to abortion. This right is far from being acquired in all countries and is even debated in the United States.
There were thousands of them marching in the streets of Paris on the occasion of International Abortion Rights Day. In a climate of concern and vigilance, six months after the inclusion of abortion in the Constitution. According to some demonstrators, the rise of the far right could set back the right to abortion. “We saw the National Rally which opposed the health law which guaranteed very important things on access to abortion”, declares a worried demonstrator.

According to the current vice-president of the United States, Donald Trump is behind the decision of the American Supreme Court to authorize states to restrict the conditions of abortion. For his part, Donald Trump is stuck between public opinion in favor of abortion and his most radical supporters who are firmly opposed to it. In two years, around ten American states have banned abortion.
