The leader of the Insoumis Jean-Luc Mélenchon “intends to run for president” in 2027, “but he cannot be the candidate of the entire left”, said Saturday September 28 in an interview with West France the first secretary of the Socialist Party, Olivier Faure. “To be in the second round in 2027, we will have to present a personality who brings together all the sensitivities of the ecological and social left.
