On social networks, Aurélie B. presents herself as a businesswoman. From her company’s headquarters in Miami (Florida, United States), she manages numerous companies in the fields of business aviation, events, design and media. According to franceinfo, this 39-year-old French woman was arrested on suspicion of large-scale fraud magnitude. She allegedly embezzled 100 million euros from the Kiabi company, one of the leaders in low-cost textiles, of which she was the treasurer.

The fraud was sophisticated according to the textile group. The brand wanted to place 100 million euros in an account. Aurélie B. allegedly usurped the identity of an executive to divert the money into bounce accounts and cash it in, before starting a new life in Florida. The scam was discovered in July. The judicial police arrested the woman when she got off her plane in Corsica.
