Soon the end of homework? Since the release of ChatGPT, many have been worried about seeing generative artificial intelligences replace humans in many jobs… But also about representing the perfect cheating tool. To the point that AIs are sometimes already used by some students to do their homework, at home or even in class. With more or less success.

In Strasbourg, 135 students have already had to retake an exam after using ChatGPT. In Nancy, a teacher refused to correct suspicious copies. In Alsace, a baccalaureate candidate was suspected of cheating. Many teachers are worried that they will not be able to accurately detect the use of AI, and that students will rely on a tool that can tell them anything.

If you, your child or a loved one have already used a generative AI like ChatGPT to do schoolwork, we are interested in your testimony. Did you submit the AI work as is or did you make changes? Was the result up to par? Was the technique spotted by the teacher?
