“I am Gaza” graffiti discovered on Monday 23 September at the necropolis of homage to the resistance fighters in La Ferté-Saint-Aubin, in Loiret, noted France Bleu Orléans.

The tags were made on the main monument of the national necropolis of Bellefontaine, which pays tribute to the Resistance. The place brings together 75 graves of resistance fighters killed by the Nazis in Sologne, including 18 shot at the “Ferme du By” on June 10, 1944.

According to France Bleu Orléans, this is the first time that this site has been the victim of damage since it was built in 1946. However, it has no connection with the current Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The city of La Ferté Saint-Aubin tells France Bleu Orléans that it will file a complaint with the gendarmerie.
