Air raids sounded in northern Israel on the night of September 21-22, and then for much of Sunday. A strike was carried out by Hezbollah in Kiryat Bialik (Israel), triggering several fires. Residents were panicked. The 150 rockets were almost all intercepted by the Hebrew state’s anti-aircraft defense, but debris from the projectiles caused the fires.

“My house was hit, I ran without my shoes, in my pajamas, to this other house. Everything was on fire”confides an Israeli resident. These strikes are Hezbollah’s response to, among other things, the pager attack a few days ago. The cycle of reprisals has begun, since the Hebrew state responded on the morning of Sunday, September 22, by striking positions of the Shiite organization in southern Lebanon.
