The body of a 19-year-old student was found in the Bois de Boulogne on Saturday, September 21. The investigation has been entrusted to the criminal brigade.
The smile of a young economics student at Paris-Dauphine University. Philippine, 19, was found dead in the Bois de Boulogne, in the west of the capital. Her sister had alerted the police on Friday, September 20. Philippine, who was supposed to go to her parents’ house in Yvelines to spend the weekend there, had not given any news for several hours. Search notices were issued.
She was last seen on Friday at 2pm at the restaurant of the Paris-Dauphine University, located a few hundred metres from the Bois de Boulogne. On Saturday, around fifty relatives and volunteers spontaneously launched a search. Philippine was found after only an hour of searching, by locating her mobile phone. Her body was buried in a wooded area.
The only lead so far is a suspicious individual with a pickaxe, who was reportedly seen by a witness in the woods. An investigation for voluntary homicide has been opened and entrusted to the criminal brigade of the judicial police.
