Vancouver Canucks | Goaltender Kevin Lankinen signed for one season

The Vancouver Canucks signed goaltender Kevin Lankinen to a one-year contract on Saturday.

The 29-year-old Finn, who will earn $875,000, played 24 games with the Nashville Predators last season.

Lankinen went 11-6-0 with a 2.82 goals-against average and .908 save percentage. He also had a shutout.

“Kevin is an experienced NHL goaltender who will add depth in goal,” Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin said in a statement.

He had a solid season last year in Nashville and has the size and skill set we like in a goalie. We can’t wait to get him here so he can start working with our group.
