In a prime-time show tailor-made for Kamala Harris, Oprah Winfrey brought together celebrities such as Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep, supporters of the Democratic candidate. Donald Trump, for his part, can count on the voice of singer Nicky Jam and wrestler Hulk Hogan.

Kamala Harris, in prime time, fell into the arms of the woman who was long considered the most powerful woman in America, Oprah Winfrey. For the occasion, the latter brought together a galaxy of Hollywood stars: actress Julia Roberts, singer Jennifer Lopez, and actress Meryl Streep, who made a perhaps well-prepared slip of the tongue: “Good evening, President Harris.”

Top-tier support that adds to that of superstar Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, who gave her consent for one of her songs to be used in campaign rallies and advertisements. Donald Trump, for his part, seems to have less support from showbiz: the singer Kid Rock, or the wrestler Hulk Hogan, very famous in the United States, are with him. The candidate has also rallied one of the princes of Latin music, Nicky Jam.

The presence of stars at his side does not guarantee victory, however. In 2016, big names supported Hillary Clinton, which did not prevent Donald Trump from winning the election.
