The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) is asking for the public’s help in finding witnesses to a collision that occurred on September 12, when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle after falling from a viaduct.
Around 9 p.m. that evening, emergency services responded to Highway 40 after an unconscious individual was discovered on the west side.
According to information provided by the SQ, everything indicates that he fell from the viaduct on Boulevard de l’Acadie. A driver then hit the man who was lying on the ground, before fleeing the scene. The pedestrian’s death was confirmed on scene.
The driver was reportedly driving a recent model, white Toyota RAV4.
