(Montreal) A memorable Whitney Houston concert in Durban, South Africa, held after the historic election of President Nelson Mandela, will be screened in movie theaters this fall.
Houston’s 1994 performance has been remastered and will premiere in theaters on October 23.
The project will precede the launch of a new show album which will be released on November 8.
In 1994, Houston performed three concerts in South Africa in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town. Her performances took place in a post-apartheid nation that had recently been unified following Mandela’s historic election victory.
