The three daughters of cartoonist Georges Wolinski, murdered in the offices of Charlie Hebdo, attended the trial of Peter Cherif. The French jihadist is suspected of being the mastermind of the attacks against Charlie Hebdo and the Hypercacher.
Almost ten years after the death of their father, the three daughters of the cartoonist Georges Wolinski, assassinated in the offices of Charlie Hebdo, will for the first time, together, attend the trial of Peter Chérif and face the man accused of being the mastermind of the attack.It doesn’t scare me at all. We especially hope that he will speak. Through his words, we could really know what each person’s responsibilities are.”explains Frederica Wolinski.
“We expect apologies, forgiveness and explanations. Like my sisters, I rarely attended the previous trials. In hindsight, I feel a little ashamed of them. I feel a little cowardly, but I couldn’t do it“, regrets Natacha Wolinski.
