Suspect arrested in investigation into alleged assassination attempt on Donald Trump “did not shoot”said the acting director of the Secret Service on Monday, September 16. According to the findings from his phone’s location, he spent nearly 12 hours near Donald Trump’s golf club before being spotted.

Presented before a judge on Monday, Ryan Wesley Routh, a 58-year-old pro-Ukrainian American whom AFP interviewed in 2022 in Kiev where he had gone to support the Ukrainian people, was served with charges of illegal possession of a weapon due to his criminal record and possession of a weapon with an obliterated serial number. In addition to these charges, which carry maximum sentences of 15 years and five years in prison respectively, he is expected to face other prosecutions.
