Storm Boris continues to rage in Central Europe on Sunday, September 15. Polish and Czech municipalities are feeling the full brunt of the rising waters.

In southern Poland, the town of Kłodzko has not known any respite since the beginning of the passage of storm Boris. Sunday, September 15, in the early morning, the rain is still very intense. Getting around is a particularly perilous task. The inhabitants are forced to hold on to the gates to avoid being swept away by the current. The city center is impassable. The citizens organize themselves with the means at hand. A few sandbags are hastily transported to limit the damage from the rising waters. One person died.

Across the border in the Czech Republic, four people are missing. Thousands of residents have been evacuated. “We didn’t think it would be this serious. We were taken by surprise and didn’t even have time to organize anything ourselves.”says one of them. All of Central Europe is hit by Storm Boris.
