The legal committee of the Professional Football League has ordered Paris Saint-Germain to pay within eight days the 55 million euros claimed by Kylian Mbappé in the dispute between them, the sports management of Radio France learned on Thursday, September 12, confirming information from the Parisianfrom a source close to the case.

The club immediately reacted by indicating that it will not pay this sum to its former player: “In light of the limits of the legal competence of the LFP commission to take a complete decision on this matter, it must now be brought before another jurisdiction”PSG said in a statement. To obtain the money, it will be up to Kylian Mbappé to take the matter to the industrial tribunal, the club added.

The two parties were received on Wednesday by the body that had proposed mediation. This mediation was accepted by the capital club, but refused by Kylian Mbappé. The legal committee therefore noted the absence of conciliation between the two parties and asked PSG to pay the amount within eight days to its former player. The 55 million euros correspond to 36 million euros of bonus, as well as 19 million euros corresponding to the salaries of April, May and June.
