My love rating for Kamala Harris went up a notch Tuesday night, following her debate performance against Donald Trump. […] I suspected that she would be waiting with bated breath for the man in the red tie for this debate that was of capital importance for the presidential campaign. And I was right: Donald Trump almost swallowed his tie in front of a wise Kamala Harris, incendiary, just the right amount, in her criticisms and remarks towards the 45e President of the United States.
While remaining relaxed, she was able to portray the sad character with a virulent irony, but which was so imbued with realism. She even warned us from the start that during the said debate, he would serve us his plethora of usual lies in the image of the rambling politician that he has become. And she was right on target.
Kamala Harris won this debate hands down, as we all saw firsthand. If I were a woman, I would have been proud to be one on Tuesday night. But as a man, I had the great privilege of seeing a brilliant, eloquent, nuanced, justice-loving woman at work, a woman with vision and who puts people first in her social project.
I saw, more than ever, the one who has all the qualities required to become the first woman to lead the United States. I saw a woman who makes me dream and who makes many others dream. A magnificent woman!
