An Israeli strike in Khan Younis, on the night of Monday 9 to Tuesday 10 September, in the Gaza Strip, reportedly left at least 19 dead and around sixty injured, in a humanitarian zone according to the Palestinians. But Israel claims that it targeted a Hamas command centre.

The impacts are impressive. Strikes left no chance of survival for those who were there. The displaced are supposed to be safe there, but the Hebrew State decided, on the night of Monday 9 to Tuesday 10 September, to target the place in the middle of the tents, in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army justified its bombings by explaining that it had targeted this area after having identified the presence of Hamas leaders there.

According to Hamas, there are 19 dead and 60 wounded. Al-Mawasi, in the city of Khan Younis, had been designated as a security zone by the Israeli army at the beginning of the war, and tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians have taken refuge there. The zone is located in the southern Gaza Strip, a few kilometers from the Egyptian border. It is a rectangle 14 kilometers long, pressed against the sea.
