Nearly 7,000 Quebecers have made an appointment for a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday, a number that exceeds the 5,000 registrations on Monday.

It is in a tweet that the Minister of Health, Christian Dubé, announced that appointments for a first dose continue to increase in the province.
When asked if these figures could have a link with the possible introduction of a “vaccine tax”, the minister’s office replied: “one can think so, but one cannot presume it”.
“It’s about time they made up their minds,” says a man who is lining up to receive his booster dose.
Uneven vaccination rate in Montreal
Currently, 85% of Montrealers are vaccinated, but this rate drops to 66% in the borough of Outremont. The ministry has yet to provide an explanation for this significant discrepancy.
