Monitored by the National Rally, criticized by the left and observed by others, Michel Barnier has been in the spotlight for two days. His first official trip attracted everyone’s attention. The new Prime Minister chose the hospital for a meeting with caregivers.
Two days after his appointment, the new Prime Minister’s first visit took place at the Necker Hospital in Paris. A symbolic choice to affirm that health will be a priority for the government. He claims to be a negotiator and uses a language of truth: “What interests me is the daily work, we are not going to perform miracles”he explains. Michel Barnier is also continuing his consultations, in particular with the President of the National Assembly, Yaël Braun-Pivet. The Assembly, a place where everything will be decided for the new head of government.
