“Intervilles”: cows, tango and rap

As the return of the famous TV game show is announced for the summer of 2025, let’s talk about the paradoxes of a sixty-year-old legend.

If you spontaneously remember the lyrics of this song, it is probably because you collect old TV archives. It is the first theme song of the show Intervilles, during the summer of 1962 – the beginning of a legend for French television, and even for French society. You only have to see the emotion at the announcement, this week, of the new resurrection of the famous game for the summer of 2025, presented by Nagui – Nagui who had already presented the game in 2004 and 2005.

But Intervilles retains a unique status among the great TV game shows. There were obviously the personalities of Guy Lux and Léon Zitrone, who were at the helm for a long time.
