Actor Benoît Magimel’s three Césars stolen during a burglary at his home

Actor Benoît Magimel was the victim of a burglary at his home in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, franceinfo learned from a source close to the case. The burglars notably made off with the three Césars won by the 50-year-old actor, while he was away from home.

According to the first elements of the investigation, the burglars searched the entire home of Benoît Magimel, who noticed this on the evening of Tuesday, September 3, when he returned home after several days of absence. The burglars also made off with a designer bag, watches and other objects, the total value of which is currently estimated at around fifty thousand euros.

The first district of the Paris judicial police is handling the investigation. Benoît Magimel is the only actor to have won two consecutive Césars for best actor in 2022 and 2023. He also won the César for best supporting actor in 2016.
