For 10 years, in their home in Mazan in Vaucluse, Dominique Pélicot, now 71, drugged his wife with anxiolytics to sexually subject her to other men, recruited on a website that is now closed. He filmed the sex. Nearly 70 people took part, but 50 will be tried in addition to the main accused.
92 rapes were allegedly committed on Gisèle Pélicot by men aged 22 to 70. They risk up to 20 years of criminal imprisonment. The victim never suspected anything. This trial is also that of chemical submission. The victim, now aged 72, wants it to be public so that this sexual violence can be denounced.
