After fifteen years of estrangement, the announcement of the reformation of Oasis seems to produce the expected craze. Fans of the British group rushed on Saturday morning, August 31, to the ticket sales platforms for the tour scheduled for summer 2025, causing outages on overloaded sites and struggling to access the purchase page for the precious tickets.
A few days after the announcement on Tuesday, August 27, of Liam and Noel Gallagher’s reunion, tickets went on sale Saturday morning in the United Kingdom and Ireland, on several platforms such as Ticketmaster and Gigs and tours. Very busy, some of these sites were no longer accessible in the hour before the opening of the sale, giving an advantage to fans who connected at dawn on Saturday.
The GigsinScotland.com, SeeTickets.com or Ticketmaster.ie websites displayed an error message and were completely inaccessible. “Please be patient, there are many people currently logged into the site to get a ticket,” could be read on the waiting page of Gigsandtours.com, without it giving access to the sale even after long minutes. Those who managed to reach the virtual queue, for their part, shared screenshots on social networks, sometimes with nearly 500,000 fans before them in Ireland.
The day before, a few lucky people had been able to buy exclusive tickets after being drawn at random for a pre-sale. And given the enthusiasm, some of them were quick to try to resell them for several thousand pounds. “Please note that tickets can ONLY be resold at face value, via Ticketmaster and Twickets. Tickets sold in breach of the terms and conditions will be cancelled by the organisers,” quickly warned Oasis on his X account.
🚨Please note, Oasis Live ’25 tickets can only be resold at face value via @TicketmasterUK and @Twickets!

Oasis are scheduled to perform in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin. The cult band has already added three dates to the 14 originally planned due to demand. According to the BBC, this represents nearly 1.4 million tickets. But the competition was all the tougher because, in the absence of an international tour, fans around the world rushed to buy this ticket. Because even if “Preparations are underway to take Oasis Live ’25 on other continents later next year”some doubt the solidity of the truce between the sworn enemies of British rock.
The return of the duo, who split up in 2009 after yet another altercation at the Parisian Rock en Seine festival, was announced on social media on Tuesday. The reconciliation of the Gallagher brothers, who have exchanged many barbs on social media and in interviews over the past fifteen years, is not coming as a result “of a great revelation” but “of a gradual realization that it is the right time”they explained. It comes thirty years after the album Definitely Maybe, released on August 29, 1994, which launched Oasis, with Liam as vocalist and Noel as guitarist and composer.
For this tour, the most affordable seats are around £75 (€89) for the London, Edinburgh and Cardiff concerts and around £150 (€178) for standing room. In Manchester, the Gallaghers’ hometown, you will have to pay at least £148 (€176) for a seat in the pit. Some fans will also be able to treat themselves to a ticket at Wembley for more than £500 (€600) which will give you access to a “evening before the concert” and will allow special places to be enjoyed. The return of Oasis has delighted hoteliers and pub owners, who are expecting huge demand in the summer of 2025 and are hoping for a “Taylor Swift” effect to boost the British economy.
