Neal Maupay will sign a one-year loan with an obligation to buy at Olympique de Marseille, Radio France’s Sports Directorate learned on Thursday, August 29, from a source close to the club. The French striker currently plays for English club Everton in the Premier League.
Since 2017 and his departure from Brest, the striker has been playing in England. First in the second division with Brentford before playing in the Premier League with Brighton and Everton and again Brentford (on loan from Everton) in the 2023/2024 season, where he scored 6 goals in 29 league games.
He is therefore once again on the verge of being loaned by the Toffees, but this time in France. Neal Maupay, 28, is due to sign his contract on Friday, adds this source close to the Marseille club.
