The Israeli government also claims to have arrested several wanted suspects, located and confiscated weapons, ammunition and other military equipment.
Explosives were also neutralized. According to the army, they were hidden under the roads in order to be detonated during attacks on Israeli soldiers. For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent deplores at least 15 other people injured after these attacks. In the occupied West Bank, Israeli incursions are daily in contradiction with the Oslo peace agreements, according to which the army is not supposed to enter these areas placed under the exclusive control of the Palestinian Authority.
