“We do not want to be the spare wheel for a failed Macronism”declared Wednesday August 28 on franceinfo the Republican Right MP for Moselle Fabien Di Filippo, after the leader of the right Laurent Wauquiez deplored an interview “disappointing” with Emmanuel Macron as part of the new consultations to form a government.

“We said that we were not seeking positions in a coalition to carry out other people’s projects,” said the MP, calling on Emmanuel Macron to “not to be naive”. “He is the one who provoked this situation, this dissolution for an ego problem at the worst possible time, and for over a month the head of state has been more or less making the situation worse”.

“If he was punished so severely at the polls with his majority, it is because he missed many things”continued Fabien Di Filippo. “He must express himself on the substance.”

“We want to avoid deadlock situations, the measures we have proposed, we are ready to vote for them with anyone”he concluded, then referring to the proposals of the “legislative pact” formulated by the right on purchasing power, security and immigration.
