Alain Delon was buried on Saturday, August 24, in his property in Douchy (Loiret) and in privacy. His admirers were kept at a distance but they received a visit from the actor’s sons.
The guests quickly pass in front of the entrance. Nothing will be leaked about the ceremony. Alain Delon wanted it to take place in the strictest privacy with around forty close friends. We only know that it was Monsignor Di Falco, the former bishop of the stars, who celebrated the funeral in a chapel that the actor had built on his estate and near which he now rests. In front of the gates, admirers still crowded all day on Saturday, August 24. “He wanted privacy, we must respect that”says one fan.
A few hours before the ceremony, Alain Delon’s sons came to thank those present and read the little notes left by the fans. Many were touched by the gesture. An emotional farewell that ended in song in the rain, as if to accompany the nostalgia that took hold of the crowd.
