Yaroslav Askarov will get a fresh start, and the San Jose Sharks have found their goaltender of the future.
The Nashville Predators traded Askarov, seen as one of the NHL’s most promising goaltenders, to the Sharks.
The Preds also give away center Nolan Burke and a 2025 third-round pick. In return, the Sharks send a 2025 first-round pick (conditional pick obtained from the Golden Knights), center David Edstrom and goaltender Magnus Chrona.
