While US Orléans hosted Valenciennes on Friday August 23 for the opening of the 2nd day of National football, supporters of both clubs had to be evacuated from the Stade de la Source due to a fire, declared at the refreshment bar, according to a tweet posted at 8:45 p.m. by France Bleu Orléans.
This happened at half-time in the match. As the flames became more and more threatening and the cloud of smoke denser, the match was stopped, reports France Bleu Orléans. After the fire alarm sounded, it was the firefighters who took charge of the evacuation.
