The Parisians return to the Parc. After playing away in the first Ligue 1 match of this 2024-2025 season, they reconnect with their supporters for a match against Montpellier, 12th last season, on Friday, August 23. Luis Enrique’s players had a mixed first day of the championship last week. Although success was seen at the end of the match against Le Havre (1-4), they lost their center forward, Gonçalo Ramos, to injury. The Portuguese, a starter at the forefront of the attack, underwent surgery this week and will be out for the next three months.

The new recruits, Joao Neves and Willian Pacho, interesting against the Normans, will be able to discover their new supporters, with a chance of being in the line-up from kick-off. Transferred from Rennes, Désiré Doué could play his first match in his new colours. For Montpellier, the task does not look easy. The Héraultais, who drew (1-1) against Strasbourg on the first day, have lost in the last 10 Ligue 1 confrontations against the Parisians.
