Russian military claims to have prevented incursion by Ukrainian ‘saboteurs’ near Bryansk

After Kursk, Bryansk. Russia claimed on Wednesday evening, August 21, to have prevented an attempted incursion by a group of “saboteurs” Ukrainians near Briansk. The Russian army also claimed the capture of a new city in Ukraine: that of Jelanné, proving that its troops are still advancing, towards Pokrovsk, in the east of the country. Russian soldiers are taking village after village and advancing for dozens of kilometers. Among the 53,000 inhabitants of Pokrovsk, families with children were called on Monday by the regional authorities to leave their homes, even ordering them to “forced evacuation”.
