Kicker Evan McPherson has agreed to a three-year, $16.5 million contract extension with the Cincinnati Bengals, NFL Network reported Friday.
A fifth-round pick in 2021 (University of Florida), McPherson has 78 field goals in 93 attempts, including 26 of 31 last year.
He is 21 for 28 from 50 yards or more, including a 59-yarder.
The Bengals will play their final two preseason games on August 17 and 22.
They will begin the regular season on September 8 at home against the New England Patriots.
Cincinnati is looking to get back to more success after a 9-8 campaign in 2023.
In the previous two seasons, the club was defeated in the Super Bowl and the American Cup final, in that order.
