The week will be busy on the road of departures and returns from vacations. Wednesday is classified as orange in the direction of departures in the north-western quarter of the country, and green throughout the rest of France, according to traffic forecasts published Tuesday August 13 by Bison futé.
After a Thursday, August 15, a holiday and quiet on the roads (the day is classified as green), the weekend looks more complicated. Bison futé classifies Friday as red in the direction of returns in the South-East, and orange elsewhere (green for departures).
On Saturday, in the direction of departures, Bison futé hoists its orange flag everywhere in France, and in red in the northwest quarter. In the return direction, the day is classified as red throughout the national territory and black in the northwest quarter. For Sunday, the day is classified as green in the direction of departures (and orange in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) but red everywhere in France in the direction of returns.
