“Hi, it’s Leo, what does it say?”

This Sunday, August 11, the French basketball team won silver at the Paris-2024 Olympic Games. As at the Tokyo Games, the Blues were never far away but suffered the supremacy of the United States (98-87). “I’m learning,” Victor Wembanyama reacted to a journalist from San Antonio in tears. “I worry about our opponents in the future, whether with France or in the NBA.”

“It was our own little Olympic Games,” enthuses one of the 40,000 amateur runners who took part in the marathon for all, on the night of Saturday to Sunday. 42.195 km or 10 km run on the official Olympic marathon course, in the middle of the night and among illuminated monuments. “Thank you Paris, it was incredible!”

And then this Sunday will mark the end of these Olympic Games with the closing ceremony at 9pm at the Stade de France. Gold medalists Antoine Dupond and Pauline Ferrand-Prévot will be the flag bearers for the French delegation. On the entertainment side, the presence of the groups Phoenix, Air and Tom Cruise is confirmed to pass the baton to the Los Angeles-2028 Games.
