The actor did indeed appear on Sunday evening in a sequence worthy of an action film.
Tom Cruise has accepted the mission. The American actor did indeed appear during the closing ceremony, confirming a rumor that had been going around for several days. The lead actor in the films Mission: Impossible first abseiled down (and live) from the roof of the Stade de France. Once on the ground, little crowd bath for the Hollywood star, who has “checked” the athletes.
Then the actor wentdressed in the Olympic flag and mounted a motorbike, before leaving (without a helmet) the stadium. Then, in a sequence recorded in April, we see the actor walking through the streets of Paris, skydiving, heading for… the “City of Angels”, where he recreated the Olympic rings on the Hollywood letters that sit atop the Californian city.
Tom Cruise has spent several days in Paris since the start of the Olympics. He has been spotted several times in the stands, particularly during the gymnastics and swimming events. The actor’s possible presence at this ceremony had been denounced in advance by Unadfi, an association defending victims of sects, which pointed out “a bad message” with the highlighting of a figure of Scientology.
