Filmmaker Ricardo Trogi can add another million-dollar film to his list of achievements, which now stands at seven. A record for a Canadian director at the Quebec box office.
After Quebec-Montreal, Biological clock, 1987, The Mirage, 1991 And The Perfect Family Guidehis most recent work, 1995has just passed the million dollar mark.
“His “quadritrogi” is, to my knowledge, a unique phenomenon as he tells us about parts of his life with a lot of humor and self-mockery. And it works because the public recognizes itself in Ricardo’s films and people are entertained by his incredible adventures,” said Patrick Roy, president of Immina Films, in a press release.
The promotion of Ricardo Trogi’s ninth film continues throughout the province, as the team visits Jonquière, Chicoutimi, Saint-Raymond, Trois-Rivières and Lachenaie these days.
Presented in 77 theaters, 1995 stars Jean-Carl Boucher, Sandrine Bisson, Claudio Colangelo, Shadi Janho, Youssef Nekmouch and many others.
