Pop Montreal | More than 200 artists in five days

Pop Montréal completes the unveiling of its programming this Tuesday. More than 200 artists will perform in some twenty Montreal venues from September 25 to 29.

Many shows had already been announced, in particular the highly anticipated tribute to Lhasa de Sela, The road singsat the Rialto to close the festival. But many other events are added, including a (free) celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Montreal collective Nomadic Massive on September 26, a concert by Calexico in a hidden location (the American group is already part of the tribute to Lhasa), three shows – Basia Bulat, Sheenah Ko and Begonia – on the roof of the Rialto, a new Comedy Pop series and the return of Patrick Watson’s “Sacred Sunday” for children.

Pop Montréal remains above all a mix of local and international talents, and we will be able to see Montrealers Virginie B, Population II, Ouri and Douance, Californians Casey MQ and the British Faux Real. An impressive and diverse lineup, for all tastes.
