Two people riding a scooter were targeted during of a shooting, near the Mulhouse judicial court (Haut-Rhin), around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, France Bleu Alsace and franceinfo learned from a police source. A man was arrested and a weapon was found on the scene.
According to the prefecture, a person opened fire on two individuals on a scooter, with a small-calibre handgun, causing two victims, one of whom died. The other injured person is in critical condition with no life-threatening prognosis.
Contacted by France 3, the Mulhouse prosecutor’s office speaks of “geographical coincidence”and indicates that no correlation can be made between the shooting and the location of the events.
