A man was in critical condition after being stabbed Saturday morning in the Lachine borough of Montreal.
A call was made to 911 around 9:15 a.m. to report a person injured by a “sharp object” on Camille Street, near Richmond Street, in a hot area of the borough, according to the Montreal Police Department (SPVM).
The victim, a 30-year-old man, was conscious when the police arrived. He was taken to hospital, where his life is feared.
A perimeter has been set up in the area, and an investigation is underway to understand the circumstances of the event.
