OM is continuing its summer transfer window with a bang. 19-year-old striker Valentin Carboni will sign with Olympique de Marseille on a one-year loan, Radio France’s sports management learned on Thursday, August 1, from a source close to the case, confirming information from L’Equipe. A high purchase option of 36 million euros is attached to this loan.

Valentin Carboni has just won the Copa America with the Albiceleste, the national team of Argentina. He will extend his contract with Inter Milan, but the Lombard club wanted to loan him out to toughen him up. Hence an astronomical purchase option, out of reach for Marseille’s finances. His arrival is expected in the coming days in Marseille.
