The Longueuil Agglomeration Police Service (SPAL) arrested three men in their twenties on Tuesday suspected of shoplifting. The suspects allegedly stole more than $5,000 from a Brossard business before fleeing.
At around 10:45 a.m., three suspects allegedly stole items from a business located on Du Lumen Street in Brossard. The suspects then fled on foot and ran onto the REM tracks and Highway 10.
SPAL and Sûreté du Québec (SQ) officers managed to catch up with and arrest the three young men.
They are expected to be interviewed by investigators at a later date. The three suspects could face charges of theft over $5,000, fleeing and mischief.
