Another victory for George Russell. Less than a month after his success at the Austrian Grand Prix, the Briton won on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit (Belgium), Sunday July 28, ahead of his teammate Lewis Hamilton, giving Mercedes its first one-two since 2022. The only driver to have made only one pit stop, George Russell made the difference thanks to this winning strategy. Oscar Piastri (McLaren) completed the podium.

Starting in 11th position after a 10-place penalty for an engine change, Max Verstappen (Red Bull) delivered a very solid performance, finishing 5th behind Monaco’s Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), who started on pole. In the drivers’ standings, Dutchman Max Verstappen remains well ahead (275 points) ahead of Lando Norris (197) and Charles Leclerc (174) with ten races remaining. On the French side, Esteban Ocon took the point for 10th place, while his Alpine teammate Pierre Gasly crossed the line in 14th position.
