American football club Los Angeles FC wants to recruit French international midfielder Antoine Griezmann, Radio France Sports management learned on Friday July 26 from concordant sources, confirming information from The Team.

The Major League Soccer (MLS) club, which already has former Bleus Hugo Lloris and Olivier Giroud in its team, is therefore looking to recruit the Atlético Madrid midfielder. The Californian club has made a concrete offer to Antoine Griezmann, the best passer in the history of the French team (30 assists). This offer would make “Grizzi”, 33 years old, the second highest paid player in the championship across the Atlantic, behind the Argentinian Lionel Messi, who plays for Miami FC.

The Atlético player still has one year of contract with the Colchoneros and above all has a clause of only 10 million euros. Antoine Griezmann is currently in deep reflection, he has never hidden his desire to play in the United States in his career, indicating moreover that Atlético de Madrid, the club in which he has played for seven seasons – interrupted by a year spent at FC Barcelona between 2021 and 2022 – will be his last club in Europe. It remains to be seen whether he will leave Spain this summer or in 2025, the player has not made his decision.
