(Paris) Young tennis player Coco Gauff, world number two, will be the flag bearer for the American delegation on Friday at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games, officials from the American Olympic Committee announced on Wednesday.
Gauff, 20, who won her first Grand Slam tournament at the U.S. Open last year, will be partnered with NBA star LeBron James, 39, who was named the men’s flag bearer on Monday.
