Jean-Philippe Baille, director of information at Radio France and director of franceinfo, is leaving Radio France, the group announced in an internal email on Monday, July 22.

Jean-Philippe Baille “expressed his wish to leave Radio France to join the Altice Media group” (BFM/RMC), writes the radio group. At the request of Sibyle Veil, President and CEO of Radio France, he will assume his duties at the head of franceinfo and will complete his missions at the Information Directorate until October 1st.

Jean-Philippe Baille will succeed Hervé Béroud as Deputy Managing Director of Information at RMC BFM, the group said in a press release, specifying that the current team will still ensure “the return of the RMC BFM group antennas”. Marc-Olivier Fogiel, general director of BFMTV for five years, will be replaced by Fabien Namias, until now deputy general director of the rival channel LCI, announced Monday the RMC BFM group, bought at the beginning of July by CMA CGM.
