Three in a row for the British? After George Russell’s victory in Austria, then that of his teammate Lewis Hamilton at home, a third Briton, Lando Norris, is in the ideal position to win the Hungarian Grand Prix, Sunday July 21, on the Hungaroring track in Mogyorod. The McLaren driver took the third pole position of his career, ahead of his teammate Oscar Piastri. He has the opportunity to claim his second victory of the season and of his career, after the one he won in Miami at the beginning of May.

While he can also consolidate his second place in the drivers’ standings, the 84 points separating him from Max Verstappen seem too great. The three-time world champion, who starts in third position, remains on two races without a win, a small anomaly. He has not let three Grands Prix in a row slip away for almost three years, at the end of the 2021 season (Sao Paulo, Qatar and Saudi Arabia GPs).
