A light truck traveling on Route 348 collided with a vehicle carrying three people. One passenger is currently in critical condition.
At approximately 12:45 p.m., emergency services received a call regarding a collision between two vehicles at the intersection of Route 348 and Chemin Forest.
For reasons still unknown, the 42-year-old driver of the light truck, who was traveling on Route 348, collided with a vehicle that was exiting Chemin Forest onto the road.
Three people were in the vehicle that was hit. The 77-year-old driver and a passenger under the age of 18 suffered minor injuries.
A 43-year-old female passenger was seriously injured and is currently in critical condition.
A police officer trained in collision investigations was dispatched to the scene to establish the circumstances of the accident and a detour was put in place to protect the scene of the accident.
