A man in his fifties finds himself between life and death after a head-on collision on Route 138, in Longue-Rive, on the North Shore.
The accident took place around 7 p.m. The man was driving a sport utility vehicle (SUV). He strayed from his lane for some reason and struck an oncoming pickup truck in a violent face-to-face.
The two drivers were taken to the hospital. Although injured, the driver’s life was not in danger. On the other hand, we fear for that of the driver of the SUV, said Stéphane Tremblay, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
A patroller in investigation and collision was dispatched to the scene. The road was closed for the time of the investigation.
