A shooting in the Saint-Michel area injured two men on the night of Thursday to Friday. The victims are in critical condition and have not yet been identified by the authorities.
Police officers from the Montreal Police Service (SPVM) were notified of gunshots on Friday around 1:50 a.m. They located two people on the scene with gunshot wounds at the intersection of Highway 25e avenue, near Robert boulevard, near René-Goupil park.
“The two men have still not been identified,” said SPVM media relations officer Caroline Chèvrefils. The victims are seriously injured and their lives are feared.
The investigation is ongoing and forensic technicians are currently analyzing the scene.
